Community Guidelines
Below are the community guidelines for The Inclusive Leadership Forum (part of Adriele Parker LLC - www.adrieleparker.com). While they may seem obvious, it's important that we align on our ways of working together. Feel free to leverage these guidelines in your work as an inclusive leader. For example, you may create a set of “community guidelines” or “ways of working together” for your team.
Respect others: This forum is intended to be a safe and supportive space for all members. Please be respectful and considerate towards others, regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs. Remember, inclusive leadership is rooted in psychological safety and the respect of others. This forum is a great place to practice fostering that.
Be inclusive: Given the context of this community, this is probably the most obvious one. This is a community that values diversity of all dimensions. Please be mindful of your language and behavior to ensure that everyone feels welcome and included.
Stay on topic: Our forum is dedicated to discussing topics related to inclusive leadership and, more specifically, "The Inclusive Leadership Journal." Please stay on topic and avoid promoting products, services, or other unrelated content. Note that moderators may reassign the category of your post(s) as necessary.
Keep it professional: While we encourage open and honest discussions, please maintain a professional and respectful tone in all your interactions.
Protect privacy: Do not share personal information about others without their consent. And be mindful of sharing your own personal information. Similarly, do not share any confidential or proprietary information about your company or organization.
Report any violations: If you witness any violations of these guidelines, please report them to a forum administrator and/or moderator.
I reserve the right to remove any content or terminate any membership that violates our guidelines, and no refunds will be issued.
By following these guidelines, we can create a positive and supportive community that fosters inclusivity and respect for all, and that teaches us to do the same for others. If there’s anything that you’d like to add to our guidelines, please drop me a note.
Thanks for being a part of The Inclusive Leadership Forum. I’m happy to have you here.
Be well,
Adriele
